Like the rustling of new leaves in the gentle southern breeze, the spirit of celebration filled the air, painting the evening of March 2nd at ITC Sonar in vibrant hues. In a dazzling display of honor and recognition, Angel Creations, under the visionary leadership of Sangeeta Sinha, proudly presented Banglar Jatiyo Gorbo - Season 2 — a grand evening dedicated to celebrating the luminaries who have illuminated the name of Bengal.

Sangeeta Sinha's unwavering vision, determination, perseverance, and dedication have culminated in this remarkable initiative—Banglar Jatiyo Gorbo. Bengal and its people have always held an eminent place in the world of creativity and culture. This prestigious platform is a tribute to that excellence, a celebration of the brilliance and glory that define Bengal.

The evening shone brightly with the presence of esteemed personalities from various cultural and professional fields. Among the distinguished attendees were Pandit Ajay Chakraborty, Sourav Ganguly, Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, Leander Paes, Madhabi Mukherjee, Mamata Shankar, Kaushik Ganguly, Churni Ganguly, Rituparna Sengupta, Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet, Jeet Ganguly, Anupam Roy, Rupam Islam and Gokulchandra Das, among many others. The stage of Banglar Jatiyo Gorbo was graced by their presence, as they were honored and celebrated with great admiration and respect.

The evening was further enriched by a mesmerizing musical performance from Iman Chakraborty, whose soulful melodies captivated the audience. Under the artistic direction of Indrani Dutta, the Srishti Dance Troupe enthralled the spectators with their rhythmic expressions, adding grandeur to the celebration.

The event was elegantly hosted by the charismatic Mir Afsar Ali and the eloquent Reshmi Bagchi, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all present.

As the curtains closed on this splendid and unforgettable evening, anticipation for Banglar Jatiyo Gorbo - Season 3 already began to build among the distinguished personalities of Bengal.

Meet Sangita Sinha

Sangita Sinha is a distinguished beauty S queen, actress, model, and fashion mentor, known for her elegance, determination, and philanthropy. Beyond her success in entertainment, she is a visionary entrepreneur committed to social impact.

As the founder and manag- ing director of Angel Creations, Sangita has led one of India's top-tier event management companies for 27 years. Her company has collaborated with Bollywood superstars, top DJs, and international artistes. Since 2017, Angel Creations has organised prestigious events like Miss World Bangladesh and played a key role in brand launches. Her global influence includes organising the Bryan Adams show in Kathmandu and working with the Indo-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce.

Sangita's expertise as a jury panelist, advisor, and mentor has shaped the careers of aspiring talents. She also made her acting debut in the acclaimed Bengali short film, Rickshawala.

Her philanthropic efforts include supporting an old age home and orphanage in Burdwan, Kolkata, and its suburbs. Through the NGO Angel Nabajiban Welfare Society, she promotes education and runs Little Angel, an English medium pre-school in Tejganj.

In 2024, she curated the West Bengal Banglar Jatiyo Gorbo event, honouring National Award winners from Bengal. With passion and purpose, Sangita Sinha continues to inspire, proving that success is measured not only by achievements but also by the impact on others.
